Hockey in New Jersey Volunteer Opportunities

The hard work and support of Hockey in New Jersey Volunteers have made it possible to provide inner-city youths an opportunity to play hockey for free over since 2003. With over 350 current participants in Englewood, Jersey City & Newark and over 1,000 alumni, Hockey In New Jersey is looking to grow our dedicated volunteer coaching staff.

HNJ depends on volunteers to be positive role models for participants and to create a fun filled safe environment for children to learn and grow through the sport of hockey.

All potential volunteers are subject to HNJ’s screening process, which includes a background check, phone screen, and required certification courses.
